Educational Photography Workshops
GCSE to University Level
AJP offers creative photography workshops designed to inspire, challenge, and support students from GCSE through to university level. These workshops provide a genuine insight into professional photographic practice, helping students understand how photography operates beyond the classroom and within real creative industries.
Led by Andrew, a working creative photographer, each session is built around real-world experience, contemporary visual storytelling, and industry-standard workflows.
Real-World Experience, Not Just Theory
Students don’t just learn about photography. They experience how it works in practice. Workshops explore the full creative process, from concept development and visual storytelling through to shooting techniques and professional workflows. This hands-on approach gives students a clear understanding of how artistic photography functions in real creative industries.
Supporting Artistic Growth
Every workshop is designed to encourage individuality and experimentation. Students are supported in developing their own visual voice while learning to think creatively, problem-solve on set, and respond confidently to briefs. Creative thinking is treated with the same importance as technical skill, helping students build confidence in both their ideas and their execution.
Designed for Education, Built from Practice
Workshops can support coursework, exam preparation, or portfolio development and align naturally with educational objectives. While structured to fit within curriculum frameworks, sessions remain grounded in authentic professional practice. This helps students understand photography beyond assessment criteria and bridges the gap between education and creative careers.
